Current Season: Summer

Summer in Garner Valley brings bright sun, lazy heat, and wandering wildlife. Butterflies of all different colors and sizes flutter from flower to flower. Flora bloom in the heat and pine cones of varying shapes and sizes cover the rolling hills, slipping into nooks and crannies. Lizards cruise their territory, searching for flies and bugs as snacks. Baby bunnies stuff their tummies. Prey birds, such as hawks and woodpeckers, scout the mountains and rest in tall pine trees. At night, as the temperature drops, predators such as owls and coyotes hoot and howl across the valley.
